General Physics

The General Physics Laboratory is designed to give students a background in experimental techniques and to reinforce instruction in physical principles in the companion courses.

For example in physics I, students have learned how to accurately collect data in order to conduct experiments such as the inclined plane, which investigates the effects of friction and slope on acceleration. This concept can be applied in different aspects of life, such as driving on a steep hill or riding a roller coaster.

The laboratory is hosting 20 students at a time in order to let the students get the most benefit out of the lecture.
